Richard Weston scarves

These stunning scarves were made by Richard Weston who was featured on BBC2's program, Next Big Thing. A fantastic program I watched religiously. They're made by scanning beautiful minerals and rocks, then printing the image on to pure silk by the finest digital silk printers in Italy. The edges are then hand rolled and sewn. So beautiful and would be an investment piece for any wardrobe. Love!!

Featured Artist } Waldemar Kolbusz

These amazing paintings are by artist Waldemar Kolbusz. I've been a massive fan of his work ever since I viewed them in a gallery in Margaret River. The colours he uses seem to glow with a light of their own. He has an exhibition coming up from the 18th-24th August at Richard Martin Gallery for those lucky enough to live in NSW. Here is the link.

You Wish } Roberto Cavalli

I found this beautiful floaty, silk top on Nordstrom today. It's by Italian designer Roberto Cavalli and the only problem I have is the price tag being $1000! hence I've put it in the "You Wish!" section. ...Sigh...

Sunset at Rottnest

I was having a little reminisce about our summer holiday in Rottnest and came across these photos I took from our balcony. It was a stunning sunset, and it just kept getting better and better. How I wish I was there now!...sigh

New painting

I had my easel packed away in the shed getting covered in dust for at least two years while the kids were babies. Now they're old enough to resist the temptation of paint within reach, (most of the time), I've decided to blow off the dust and get it back out again. At the moment Im painting a photo I took of Rottnest Island from our holidays there. I've just blocked in the background and now Im adding in the detail and gradually building up some texture in the rocks. I'll post more photos on this later!

Mademoiselle

I've finally finished a brand new girls Dream Scene inspired by France and its famous icon the Eiffel Tower. Carrying a basket of freshly baked baguettes and wearing her favourite red beret, this chic mademoiselle takes her daily stroll through the beautiful streets of Paris.
